- לָעַבHif. הִלְעִיב (b. h.; cmp. לעג) to mock, talk lasciviously (with ב).Y.Sot.III, 19a יושבת ומַלְעֶבֶת בדבריוכ׳ who sits down and quotes Biblical phrases in a lascivious manner (e. g. Gen. 30:16).
